If he has to rely on a condition, such as chanting a mantra, visualizing a Buddha statue, or being shut in a house and isolated from the world, he feels happy and free. Such conditional freedom is not true. Freedom is not liberation. A lot of yoga and spiritual practice are still conditional cultivation, and it is still in the initial stage of cultivation.
